- research the sun's size and temperature
- write a description of the sun and additional facts
- research EACH PLANET'S size, moons, temperature, and how long it takes to orbit the sun {each planet has its own tab-it page}
- color and label the solar system
- black and white clipart for each planet and the sun is included OR your students can illustrate the planets on each page of the tab-its booklet
These Science Tab-Its® can be used for students to conduct research on the specific unit of study. Your students can use non-fiction texts, magazines, or the internet to conduct their research to complete the expository writing activities within each Tab-Its® Booklet.
