You can add the Google Slide links to Google Classroom, via email, Microsoft Teams, and Seesaw, etc. This will give you the ability to provide the unit activities digitally to your students.
Included in this unit is:
- 1 O-W-L-S Flip Flap Book® - The students will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned and researched about Owls within this resource.
They will:
- explain what an owl is
- research an owl on an Owl Graph Organizer (food, habitat, size, protection, description, offspring, cool facts)
- write a descriptive paragraph using their research and draw a picture
- ALSO included is a page where the students can write a journal entry about DISSECTING AN OWL PELLET. If you do not engage in this activity, it can be left out of the flip-flap book®.
This flip flap book® could also be used as an authentic assessment to evaluate the depth of knowledge your students gained through your unit on owls.
