Comparative & Superlative Adjectives
This Comparative & Superlative Adjectives Teach-Its® unit includes a rigorous, fun, and engaging lesson to help you teach this difficult skill to your students.
This unit includes:
☞ a scripted standards-based Lesson Plan that includes Learning Targets, Materials, Standards, and a scripted lesson plan to help you effectively teach about Comparative & Superlative Adjectives to your students
☞ a whole group Active Engagement activity to engage and excite your students to help them learn about Comparative & Superlative Adjectives. The students will be expected to engage with each other, read, write, and communicate to complete the active engagement portion of the lesson
☞ the Active Engagement activity will allow the students to find their partners to complete the set of comparative and superlative adjectives using mini task cards that include sentence stems with the missing adjective. The students will write the comparative and superlative adjectives on the task card. The students will then present their task cards to the class as they add them to a pocket chart.
☞ an Independent Activity with an "easy" craft to help your students master the skill of using Comparative & Superlative Adjectives correctly within a sentence
