This activity is completely scaffolded to help build an understanding of how nouns become plural nouns and then possessive nouns and allows for an application of this skill on the last page of the Tab-Its® Booklet.
The students will...
* define what a Noun is
* define what a plural noun is
* label pictures of plural nouns
* label pictures of singular nouns and the object it possess in a singular possessive phrase
* use the 6 singular possessive phrases in sentences
* label pictures of plural nouns and the objects they possess in plural possessive phrases
* use the 6 plural possessive phrases in sentences
* {PRACTICE} decipher if the picture shown is a singular possessive or a plural possessive and write the phrase that matches the picture then write sentences using the phrases
* {APPLY} draw 2 singular possessives and objects they possess and 2 plural possessives and objects they possess, write the phrase that matches each picture, and write a sentence using each possessive
