- define what a Force is
- define what Motion is
- draw and define related Vocabulary words - Gravity, Friction, Energy and Work
- draw and label objects that need a PULL or PUSH to be put in motion
- use pictures and a scenario to explain the concept of friction
- Experimentation Station - the last two pages in this flip flap book are to be used in conjunction with your various experiments on force and motion. The students will illustrate two different experiments that they conducted, label a diagram of each experiment, explain the purpose of each experiment and the results of each experiment in order to APPLY their knowledge of Force and Motion.
This Force and Motion Tab-Its® Booklet can be used as a partner/independent activity after your specific lessons on the unit of study, they can be used in your Work on Writing Center as independent research projects, or can be used as an Authentic Assessment at the conclusion of your unit on Force and Motion!
These Science Tab-Its® can be used for students to conduct research on the specific unit of study. Your students can use non-fiction texts, magazines, or the internet to conduct their research to complete the expository writing activities within each Tab-Its® Booklet.
