We have now added Google Slide activities to accompany each unit. You can click on the Google Slides link, make a copy, and now begin using it with your students. You can add the Google Slide links to Google Classroom, via email, Microsoft Teams, and Seesaw, etc. This will give you the ability to provide the unit activities digitally to your students.

- 1 Fifty States Tab-Its® Booklet that can be utilized for each of the states - The students will have the opportunity to read and write all about a specific state that they are researching.
- Clip art of EACH of the fifty states to use within this resource and on the cover of the Tab-Its® Booklet.
The students will:
- complete a mapping activity where they find and color their state on a US map, write the bordering states of their specific state, and create a map key for each of the bordering states
- research the State Bird for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the State Flower for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the State Tree for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the main type of Agriculture for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the main type of Industry for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the State Flag for their specific state, draw a picture of it, and write a fact about it
- research the major waterways for their specific state and write a fact about it
- write about a specific tourist attraction for their specific state write a fact about it
- research and write the population of their specific state
- write a few facts they found interesting about their state
These Fifty States Tab-Its® Booklets can be used as a partner/independent activity after your specific lessons on the unit of study or they can be used in your Work on Writing Center as independent research projects.
