This unit focuses on the gradual release of responsibility model during the first 20 days of math instruction in your classroom.
The 20 lessons in this unit focus on:
- counting
- reading and writing numbers
- subitizing
- number sense
- sorting
- pictographs
- bar graphs
- building numbers with ten frames
- using manipulatives
- practicing guided math rotations
When you complete this unit, your students will be ready to begin full rotations during Guided Math.
