These December Tab-Its® are just the ticket! They allow teachers to acknowledge each of the December holidays without taking too much time out of your day!
As teachers, we have A LOT of curriculum to cover in a short amount of time, yet we still want our kiddos to have FUN and learn about the different holidays and seasonal events throughout the school year!
These December Holiday Tab-Its® can be used whole group after you read a mentor text on the specific holiday or they can be used at your Work on Writing Station or Center.

We have now added Google Slide activities to accompany each unit. You can click on the Google Slides link, make a copy, and now begin using it with your students. You can add the Google Slide links to Google Classroom, via email, Microsoft Teams, and Seesaw, etc. This will give you the ability to provide the unit activities digitally to your students.

Holidays Around the World Tab-Its®
- Includes: - 8 travel brochures with information about the holiday celebrated in that country
- The students will:
- travel to 7 different countries (Christmas and Kwanzaa in America)
- countries include France, Sweden, Israel, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and America
- read information about the holiday traditions, foods, and decorations from 7 different countries on Travel Brochures
- after reading the travel brochures, they will write down a fact about each country's holiday traditions, foods, and decorations on their Tab-Its® booklet
- they will "Create a Plate" (food and labeling)
- complete the "Decoration Station" (Decorations and labeling)
- write about "Tradition Exhibitions" from each country (write about holiday traditions from each country)
- address map skills by finding each country on the map, finding it on their world map in their Tab-Its® book, and create a map key for each country they traveled to
